Orange is the New Black (Cat) – Storefeeder Sessions 2026

Yesterday we headed over to StoreFeeder for their Annual SF Sessions Conference in Nottingham to take a sneak peek at the next-generation software updates that are due to be rolled out over the next few months. 

For those who don't know, StoreFeeder is the Warehouse Management System (WMS) that powers our entire fulfilment operation. Every pick, pack and dispatch runs through their platform, and right now that means helping us ship over 130,000 orders every single month. They're not just a software supplier — they're a genuine backbone of Black Cat Medicines.

So when they invited us to a conference to preview what's coming next, we weren't going to say no.

The event was a proper look under the bonnet at their next-generation platform — new features, smarter automation, and a glimpse at where the roadmap is heading. As a business that lives and dies by operational efficiency, it was exactly the kind of session we find valuable. Seeing what's in the pipeline means we can plan ahead, not just react.

We got to see live demo’s from their actual engineers and talks from key members of their team.  We give a huge thanks to Brian, Ian, Jared, Sean, Dan and the rest of the team for all the hard work that went into planning, hosting and delivering the session. 

We really look forward to implementing the next gen updates and enabling us to continue to grow as a business and stay at the forefront of our uber competitive industry.

Upon return to the office this morning we relayed all the info to our senior warehouse team who were super excited to hear of the upcoming updates… just look at their faces!!!
