How often should I give my dog a bath?
It is recommended that you bathe your dog as often as necessary however no more than once at week at maximum. A good rule of thumb for adult dogs is to give them a bath once per month with warm water and dog shampoo, for puppies we suggest not bathing them at all before 12 weeks old as before this time they should be getting groomed the appropriate amount by their mother. How often should I brush my dog's fur?
How often you should brush your dog's fur depends entirely on the type of hair they have. If you have a dog with short hair then they will need to be groomed less frequently compared to long-haired dog's who should be brushed at least once per week to prevent matted fur. The frequency of brushing also depends on how prone your dog's fur is to shedding, if your dog sheds a lot of hair then more frequent brushing will help to prevent an excess from falling out around the house.
