Unwins Watercress Aqua Seeds will give you a year-round harvest. They are easy to grow and have a great peppery, strong flavoured taste.
If you love watercress - Aqua will give you a delicious healthy herb you can pick straight from your garden or windowsill. It will certainly spice up any salad or sandwich with a strong peppery and tangy flavour.
This herb doesn't even need running water to grow, simply keep in a damp and moist place and it will grow extremely well.
Sow: April to September
Harvest: May to October
Sowing
Sow thinly in the harvest location and cover with a very thin layer of compost. Choose a reliably moist, shady spot, or use a 30cm patio pot placed on a larger saucer of water. Thin seedlings to 10cm apart.
Aftercare
Keep well watered; if growing in a container, keep the saucer topped up daily. Regular picking is essential for continuous growth.
