Product Details
A highly productive, disease-resistant bush cherry tomato that’s easy to grow and perfect for pots and containers. Fruits hold well on the plant, are resistant to splitting, and are rich in vitamins.
Sow: Feb to Apr
Harvest: Jul to Sep
Sowing Indoors
Level-fill a module tray with seed compost and firm gently using the base of another tray. Water well with a fine rose. Sow seeds individually and lightly cover with vermiculite. Place in a propagator at 18–20 °C or cover the tray with cling film and leave in a warm room. Keep moist.
Growing On
When shoots appear, remove cling film. Keep seedlings in a light position but shade from direct sunlight. When plants have 4 leaves, transplant to 8 cm pots of potting compost. Grow coolly and steadily at a minimum temperature of 15 °C.
Planting Out
Gradually accustom plants to outdoor conditions for 2–3 weeks before planting out when temperatures exceed 10 °C. Transfer to large pots (minimum 30 cm).
Support
Bush/determinate type, naturally compact and requires no support or side-shoot removal.
Advice
Tomatoes are thirsty and hungry plants. Feed and water regularly, especially during fruiting.
