These Unwins Swiss Chard Rhubarb Seeds are quick growing and will produce a delicious vegetable. Also known as ruby chard, this plant has contrasting green leaves with crimson stalks and veins.
Use as baby leaves or when mature. These tasty leaves make an excellent alternative to spinach, as well as packed full of vitamins and antioxidants.

Sowing Outdoors
Sow seeds 2.5 cm deep, 10 cm apart, directly in the harvest position in rows 40 cm apart. Keep the soil consistently moist.
Thinning
When seedlings are large enough to handle, thin to 30 cm apart as needed.
Advice
Use thinnings as baby salad leaves. Plants will continue cropping in all but the harshest weather, especially if given some winter protection.
