Unwins Sprouting Seeds Wheatgrass Seeds produce the sprouted shoot of the wheat plant. Packed with vitamins and minerals, this super-food is incredibly easy to grow. Sow indoors at any time and harvest throughout the year.

Sow Indoors: Jan to Dec
Harvest: Jan to Dec
Sowing Indoors
Soak the seeds overnight, keeping them submerged. Drain, rinse, and repeat as needed until the seeds show very small roots. Sow thinly on the surface of compost in a seed tray and cover with a lid to exclude light, while allowing air circulation. Keep moist but not wet. Remove the lid when the shoots are 3–5cm tall and move to a brighter spot.
Harvest
Harvest when the shoots are between 10 and 30cm tall using scissors. Use for juicing or as a tasty addition to salads.
