Sowing Outdoors
Sow thinly, 1cm deep in rows 30cm apart, direct in harvest position. Keep the soil moist at all times.
Thinning
When seedlings are large enough to handle, thin to 15cm apart as necessary.
Advice
Cover earlier sowings to increase the cropping period. Pick leaves regularly to ensure a continuous supply. Use young leaves in salads or allow to mature and then steam.
