Use this quick, easy-to-grow and high-yielding Pak Choi as baby leaf in salads. Pak Choi Canton has a nice compact habit producing broad, short and thick white petioles with green, almost savoy like leaves.

Sowing Outdoors
Sow seeds thinly in shallow, pre-watered rows. Lightly cover seeds with a little soil. Keep soil moist, as dry conditions impair germination. Gradually thin seedlings to 25 cm apart and allow them to develop.
Thinning
Thin to 25 cm apart, or 2.5 cm for baby leaf.
Advice
Keep well-watered in periods of dry weather. The thinnings are delicious used in salads. Sow a little and often to maintain supply.
