Quick to grow with a long harvest. White Lisbon is a traditional favourite with veg growers, as it's quick and easy to grow and has a long harvest period. You can also sow in autumn for the following spring.

Sowing Outdoors
Sow thinly in pre-watered shallow drills and cover with a little more soil. Allow 20 cm between rows. Keep soil moist until seedlings are established. Sow little and often for a continuous supply throughout the summer. Autumn sowings may benefit from cloche protection in severe weather, and should be ready in March or earlier in mild weather.
