Unwins Spring Onion Marksman seeds produce non-bulbing spring onions. They are not too pungent and are tolerant of cold, heat and drought. Marksman shows good disease resistance too, making these a great variety for novice growers.

Sow: Mar to Sep (Autumn sowing)
Harvest: Mar to Oct
Sowing Outdoors
Sow thinly in pre-watered shallow drills and cover with a little more soil. Allow 20 cm between rows. Keep soil moist until seedlings are established. Sow little and often for a continuous supply throughout the summer. Autumn sowings may benefit from cloche protection in severe weather and should be ready in March or earlier in mild weather.

Best eaten soon after lifting.
