Unwins Nemesia Poetry Mixed Seeds is a delightful mix of pastel shades with a delicate fragrance.
A charming mix of bushy and well branched plants. Poetry is a long-flowering mix of soft cool purple, pink, blue and white. This plant forms neat foliage flowering for months in summer and autumn.

Sow: Feb to Apr

Sowing
Level fill a module tray with seed compost, firming with the base of another tray. Water well with a fine rose. Sow seeds individually over the surface, lightly covering with a little more compost or vermiculite. Place in a propagator at 15–18 °C or cover the tray with cling film and leave in a warm room.
Growing On
When shoots appear, remove cling film or ventilate the propagator. Keep seedlings in a light position, but shade from direct sunlight. Grow on in a minimum temperature of 10 °C.
Hardening Off / Planting Out
Gradually accustom plants to outside conditions for 2–3 weeks before planting out 25 cm apart when the risk of frost has passed. Water well until established. Plant in groups of 3s and 5s.
Advice
Plant out, or position pots, where you can fully appreciate the lovely fragrance. To encourage bushier growth with more flowers, follow the stem of the faded flower, pinching it off 2–3 leaf buds back into the plant.
