When to sow
February to May
Where to sow
Straight into the soil about 1cm deep. Soak the soil with water as soon as you have sown the seeds and keep warm. Seedlings should appear about two or three weeks later. As they grow, carefully move some to other parts of the garden to avoid overcrowding.
Remember
Keep them watered. You can also sow the seeds 1cm deep in little pots of seed compost and plant them out in the garden when they are a few centimetres high. Your pansies should flower for most of the summer.
