Where to sow
Sow outside from April, water the soil then sow the seeds straight into the soil, keep soil moist. Sow 1cm deep and cover with a little soil. You can also sow seeds 1cm deep in little pots of seed compost indoors from March. When plants are a few centimetres tall stand get used to outdoor conditions outside to before planting out or putting on the patio in pots.

Keep them watered. For salads all summer long sow a pinch of seeds every few weeks.
