The active ingredient is hypochlorous acid (HOCl), a naturally occurring compound already produced by white blood cells in mammals to fight infection. This gives Leucillin a kill rate of up to 99.99999% of germs, working around 300 times more effectively than bleach, while remaining completely non-toxic, non-irritant and pH neutral. It contains no steroids, antibiotics or alcohol, so it won't sting healthy tissue and is safe even if your pet licks the treated area.
