Unwins Loose Lettuce Greenpick Seeds produce crisp, sweet lettuces that will instantly brighten up your salad.
A non-hearting lettuce that can be harvested leaf by leaf for a steady supply or left to mature into a full head. Its crisp, sweet leaves make it ideal for both garden beds and patio pots.

Quick to Grow
Sowing Indoors
Sow thinly, 1 cm deep, in clean trays or modules of firm, pre-watered compost. Place in warmth (10–15 °C) and keep moist at all times.
Planting Out
After the risk of frost has passed, transplant seedlings to their final positions, spacing 25 cm apart with 30 cm between rows when plants have 3–4 true leaves.
Sowing Outdoors
Sow thinly, 1 cm deep, directly in the desired harvest position. Keep the soil moist at all times and thin seedlings to 25 cm apart.
Advice
Keep well watered and make small sowings every 3 weeks to ensure a continuous crop. Use netting to protect from birds and insects.
