Sow: March to July
Harvest: May to September

Sowing (indoors/propagator)
Sow thinly, 1 cm deep, in clean trays or modules of firm, pre-watered compost. Place in warmth (10–15 °C) and keep moist at all times.

Planting Out
After the risk of frost has passed, plant into the required harvest position, 25 cm apart with 30 cm between rows, when plants have 3–4 true leaves.

Sowing Outdoors
Sow thinly, 1 cm deep, in the final harvest location. Keep soil moist and thin seedlings to 25 cm apart.

Advice
Keep well watered. Small sowings every 3 weeks will ensure a continuous supply. Use netting to prevent damage from birds and insects.
