Produces flowers in deep rich purple through to paler lilac shades to white with a lovely evening fragrance. Sweet fragrance.
Sowing Indoors
Sow seeds in a seed bed within pre-watered soil 2 cm deep, thin out as necessary to allow seeds to develop. Keep soil moist until seedlings emerge and water as required in dry spells. Plant in their flowering positions in early autumn.
Sowing Outdoors
Alternatively sow direct in the border in semi-circular patterns to create 'drifts' of colour through the border.
