Unwins Tarragon Seeds produce a quick growing herb with a subtle liquorice flavour. Flexible to being sown indoors or out, this herb is suitable for borders as well as pots.

Sow: March to June
Harvest: June to September
Sowing
Sow sparingly on the surface of moistened compost in trays or individual pots (you won’t need many plants). Keep at 15–20°C and allow a few weeks for germination.
Growing On / Planting Out
When large enough to handle, transplant seedlings to individual pots of potting compost and keep in a warm, bright position. Once well-rooted, plant out in a sunny, sheltered spot in well-drained soil, or in a large pot (minimum 30cm diameter).
Sowing Outdoors
Alternatively, sow on the surface of the soil once it has warmed up and all danger of frost has passed.
Aftercare
Water well, especially while establishing and during warm, dry spells.
