Sowing
Sow seeds thinly in pre-watered shallow rows and cover with a little soil. Thin seedlings to 30 cm apart. Keep soil moist until seedlings are established.
Advice
Alternatively, sow a few seeds per 12 cm pot of seed compost. Cover with a little more compost or vermiculite, keep moist, and place pots on a warm windowsill. Harvest leaves when plants are 15–20 cm high. Can be invasive in the garden if allowed to set seed.
