Unwins Coriander Fine Leaved Seeds are easy to grow and produce a versatile herb for a wide range of dishes.
It is best picked fresh so is perfect for keeping in a pot on the windowsill or nearby outside for a ready supply. Pick regularly to stop plants running to seeds.
Sow: March to June
Harvest: June to September
Sowing
Sow thinly, 5mm deep in pots or clean module trays of firm, pre-watered compost. Place in constant warmth at 18–20°C and keep moist at all times. Slowly reduce the temperature to 15°C and increase ventilation after germination to prevent seedlings from becoming leggy.
Growing On
Plant out into individual pots for windowsill or patio growing, or into the ground for outdoor growing.
Sowing Outdoors
Sow thinly, direct into the required harvest position, 5mm deep. Keep soil moist at all times. Thin seedlings to 20cm apart.
