Unwins Chamomile Seeds are a cottage garden favourite. Charming in informal borders or pots, the flowers of chamomile are pleasantly scented, and, when dried, the flowerheads can be used to make tea.
These attractive, pleasantly scented daisy-like flowers have feathery foliage and an apple fragrance when crushed. A hardy annual, these beautiful flowers will return year on year.

Sow: March to May
Harvest: June to September
Sowing
Rake soil to create a firm, even surface. Sow seeds thinly in pre-watered soil, lightly covering with a little more soil. For a natural “drift” effect, sow in semi-circular lines. Keep the soil moist until seedlings appear, and water during dry spells.
Thinning
Once seedlings are large enough to handle, thin to prevent overcrowding and allow healthy development.
Advice
This variety of chamomile is not suitable for creating a chamomile lawn.
