Product Details
A beautiful and novel variety with a unique flower resembling a fried egg. Sun-loving with a long flowering period, it is perfect for pots, beds, and borders. Fleuroselect Gold Medal Winner.
Sow: February to April
Flowering: June to September
Sowing
Almost fill a seed tray with moist seed compost. Sow seeds thinly over the surface and lightly cover with a little more compost. Place in a warm position at 18–25 °C and keep moist.
Growing On
Keep seedlings in a light position but shaded from bright sun. When large enough to handle, transplant 5 cm apart into trays of potting compost.
Planting Out
Once the risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise plants to outdoor conditions over 2–3 weeks before planting out. Space plants 20 cm apart.
Aftercare
Remove spent flower heads by following the stem to the base of the plant and pinching off. This helps prolong flowering.
Support
Seeds are coated with a chemical-free and microplastic-free coating to increase germination rates.
