Unwins Land Cress American Salad is quick to crop and will provide you with a year-round harvest.
It's best in a shady spot with plenty of moisture. Land cress can also be grown in pots and has a similar flavour to watercress.
Harvest: January to December
Sowing
Prepare the ground by raking to produce an even surface. Sow thinly in pre-watered rows, 30 cm apart, and cover with a little soil. Keep soil moist until seedlings are established.
Thinning
When seedlings are large enough to handle, thin them to about 20 cm apart.
Aftercare
Water freely, especially in dry weather, to ensure a good supply of succulent leaves.

Gather young leaves and tops of young shoots for use in salads.
