Unwins Border Perennials Classic Seeds will give you a complete border from just one sowing. We've chosen a mix of our popular perennials that will flower for the first time at the same time of year, achieving an abundance of colour all year long, year after year.

Sowing
Almost fill a seed tray with moist seed compost. Sow seeds thinly over the surface and lightly cover with a little more compost. Place in warmth at 10–20 °C and keep moist.
Growing On
Keep seedlings in a light position, but shade from direct sunlight. When large enough to handle, transplant 5 cm apart into trays of potting compost.
Hardening Off / Planting Out
Gradually accustom plants to outdoor conditions over 2–3 weeks before planting out from April onwards. Allow 30 cm between plants.
Advice
Early sowings may flower in the same year, while later sowings will bloom from the following summer.
