Sow: February to March
Flowering: June to September
Sowing
Sow in trays of pre-watered seed compost and cover lightly with a little soil or vermiculite. Keep at 20–25 °C and allow 3–4 weeks for germination. Do not exclude light.
Growing On
When large enough to handle, transplant into trays of potting compost 5 cm apart, or individually into 8 cm pots.
Planting Out
Gradually accustom plants to outside conditions for 2–3 weeks before planting out when the danger of frost has passed. Allow approximately 35 cm between plants.

Coreopsis thrive best in full sun. In the garden, plant in any well-drained soil. Use good-quality potting compost if planting in containers. Deadhead regularly to prolong flowering.
