Product Details
Compact, free-flowering plants with cheerful pompom flowers, ideal for early spring bedding, borders, or containers. Their low-growing habit and vibrant blooms make them perfect for adding colour to lightly shaded areas of the garden.
Sow: May to July
Flowering: March to May
Sowing
Almost fill a seed tray with moist seed compost. Sow seeds thinly over the surface and lightly cover with a little more compost. Place in warmth at 10–15 °C and keep the compost moist.
Growing On
Keep seedlings in a light position but shaded from direct sunlight. When large enough to handle, transplant 5 cm apart into trays of potting compost.
Planting Out
Gradually acclimatize plants to outdoor conditions over 2–3 weeks before planting out during autumn. Allow 15 cm between plants. Young plants will become established before the onset of winter.

English daisies prefer rich, moist soil and lightly shaded areas. Regular watering and removal of faded flowers will encourage longer-lasting colour and a neat, compact display.
