Unwins Aubrietia Purple Cascade Seeds create a colourful carpet of purple flowers. This hardy perennial returns each year, signally the start of spring when it reappears annually.
Ideal for rockeries, borders or scrambling over a low wall, this colourful flower will make a brilliant addition to your garden.

Sow: February to June
Flowering: March to May
Sowing Indoors:
Almost fill a seed tray with moist seed compost. Sow seeds thinly over the surface and lightly cover with a little more compost. Place in warmth, 10–15°C, and keep moist.
Growing On:
Keep seedlings in a light position, but shade from direct sunlight. When large enough to handle, transplant 5cm apart into trays of potting compost.
Hardening Off/Planting Out:
Gradually accustom plants to outdoor conditions for 2–3 weeks before planting out from early summer onwards. Allow 30cm between plants.

In summer, shear scraggly growth to tidy the plant shape.
