Sow: February to April
Flowering: July to October
Sowing Indoors:
Sow on the surface of pre-watered seed compost in pots or trays, lightly pressing seeds into the surface. Place in a propagator or bag at around 20°C in shade and allow 2 weeks for germination. Remove lid or bag and keep in cooler, brighter conditions after germination.
Growing On:
Transplant when seedlings are large enough to handle. Grow on in a sheltered spot outdoors, such as a cold frame or unheated greenhouse.

Plant out in full sun in well-drained soil and water in well.

Cut back after flowering, once foliage is dying back. Divide established clumps every 2–3 years for best performance.
