Unwins Annuals Flowers Unwins Container Mix Seeds create a hardy annual that's extremely colourful. These low-growing mix of plants are perfect for pots and are very easy to grow and maintain.
You'll get a mass of beautiful colours in the summer with this mix that's great for naturalising wildlife friendly areas of your garden. When growing this eclectic mix you'll be rewarded with pinks, purples, reds, yellows, whites and more!

Sow: March to May

Sowing in Containers
Fill a 30 cm container with compost and lightly firm it level with the base of another pot. Water well and allow to drain. Scatter seeds thinly over the surface and lightly cover with a little more compost. Keep the soil moist until seedlings appear.
Thinning
When seedlings are large enough to handle, thin to allow proper development. Initially, thin to 15–20 seedlings per 30 cm container, reducing to 10–12 seedlings once plants reach 10–15 cm tall.
Aftercare / Advice
Water containers regularly to maintain growth and flowering. Alternatively, sow directly in the border for a low-growing flower mix. When sowing multiple varieties together, thin seedlings individually as each may vary slightly in shape and colour when young.
