Unwins Alyssum Carpet of Snow Seeds produce masses of white flowers all summer long for good ground cover. This 'Sweet Alyssum' is ideal for flower beds and rockeries and also makes a beautiful edging for paths, flowering from June to September in most soils or positions.

Sowing
Almost fill a seed tray with moist seed compost. Sow seeds thinly over the surface and lightly cover with a little more compost. Place in warmth at 10–15 °C and keep moist at all times.
Growing On
Keep seedlings in a light position, but shade from direct sunlight. When large enough to handle, transplant 5 cm apart into trays of potting compost.
Hardening Off / Planting Out
Gradually accustom plants to outside conditions for 2–3 weeks before planting out from late April onwards. Allow 15 cm between plants. Plant in a sunny or lightly shaded position in well-drained soil.
Aftercare / Advice
Remove faded flowers to encourage further blooming. Sweet Alyssum produces masses of white flowers all summer long, forming excellent ground cover and edging for paths, beds, and rockeries.
