Coronavirus COVID-19 Update

UPDATE ON CORONAVIRUS COVID-19

With the ongoing uncertainty at the moment, I wanted to reach out to you and check that all our lovely customer are all ok. The Black Cat Medicines Team hope you're staying safe. As well as looking after yourself, we want you to be able to cope and not run into any issues, especially given isolation potential and even lockdown potential. It's important to us that you know that we're here for you.

Do let us know if we can help you with anything else. Our team is dedicated to supporting you, as always, and we're only an email or phone call away.

This is a concerning time personally and it's also a high-demand time for online business-wise as more people want to order from the safety and convenience of their homes, rather than venturing to the supermarket or local shops.

As a company, we’re thankfully in a stable position due to the increased demand for online shopping, so we can continue providing you with a trusted supply direct to your door.

We can confirm that none of our staff have symptoms of Covid-19 and we're operating as usual for the time being, while following all the recommended safety guidelines. If our situation changes, we'll update you - as you know, we never keep our customers in the dark.

The welfare of our staff is our first priority, to allow us to continue to delivery a great service.

For now we are asking:

    • We ask clients who are showing symptoms (fever, dry cough etc) NOT to come in and opt for our FREE Delivery Option
    • Where possible we ask that only one person comes in when collecting an order
    • Please clean your hands at the hand wash station we have provided when entering our premises
    • Please can we ask for 48 hours notice for any prescription orders - Prescription orders can be posted out to those clients who are self isolating.
    • Payments by credit card instead of cash if possible.

We always have very strict cleaning protocols but are increasing the cleaning frequency in high touch areas (door handles, desk tops, credit card machines etc).

The entire team is being updated on all changes going forward and we will keep you informed of any developments.

Again, please reach out to us if we can help you and above all, please look after yourselves, your staff and your loved ones. We’re all in this together and we're here for you!

Best Regards,

Garry, David, Steve & All the Team @ Black Cat Medicines

Coronavirus and Pets

We have had a few people ask about coronavirus and pets. Currently there is no evidence to suggest that companion animals such as dogs and cats can catch the new coronavirus. The British Small Animal Veterinary Association (BSAVA) have issued some more information, just follow this link: https://www.bsava.com/News/ArticleID/2691/COVID-19-and-Pet
